OUR PHILOSOPHY Child’s early experiences enrich and stimulate future growth. Children deserve to be treated and respected as individuals in an environment that welcomes reason, exploration, question, and imagination. Children learn about themselves and their environment through their surroundings as well as interactions with others. At Creative Minds Daycare children will be provided with warm and nurturing environment enriched by “hands-on”, play-learning opportunities, which promote all aspects of development. The program puts emphasis on the interactions between the child and caregiver and the interactions between the child and peers of a mixed age group. The environment helps children learn independence, self-control, trust, autonomy, and initiative while still respecting others. The caregiver encourages the children to make decisions, use reasoning skills, practice listening, and explore the world around them. Children of all ages will be given opportunities to learn through experiences with stories, songs and music, art, science, dramatic play, sensory materials, number and letter activities indoors and the outdoors. |
