DAILY SCHEDULE
YOUNG TODDLER ACTIVITIES Indoors: Push and pull or ride-on toys, sand and snow play, various size balls (rolling, kicking, catch/throw), walks around the neighborhood. Outdoors: Reading large and small books with lots of pictures, stacking and knocking down, emptying and filling , blocks, sorting (shapes, colors, texture), scribbling on paper or scribble pad. Circle time: circle time is typically a gathering time to share poems, songs, stories and action games. Numeracy and music activities can also be incorporated into circle time. Young children can participate for a little while and since their attention span is much shorter they might be engaged in other ways or thye can learn watching older children participate in more advanced activities.
